Birthday Zoo Trip

Simon turned FOUR in April! He wanted to go to the zoo on his birthday so while the other kids were at school, I got to have a fun day with Simon and Ruby at the NC Zoo. Simon is obsessed with animals and can tell you all kinds of random facts about different animals. He loved holding the map and navigating us through the zoo. It wasn't crowded and it's always nice to be in a Simon-friendly place (where he can run and get out all his energy). The zoo requires a lot of walking and he had no problem keeping up. He also had to climb on every statue we passed.
