We picked up Ben from the airport last week and made a quick stop at Gravelly Point to watch the airplanes land. It was too loud for Elsa (she takes after her Grandpa Bob) but Oliver was fascinated.

planes + trains

On another delightful winter afternoon a few weeks ago, we went to Gravelly Point to watch the planes. We also walked along the Potomac for a bit. I love this particular walk because we get to see the trains pass by, boats on the water, and lots of airplanes in the sky.

We walked to the school to get Amelia and let her linger with a friend on the playground until it was almost dark.

Elsa was determined to scare away all of the geese.
