A few weeks ago we had our first Saturday outing with Simon! We spent a few hours exploring at Green Spring Gardens. The weather was gorgeous and the kids were thrilled to find tons of turtles at the pond and even some goslings. I loved watching them run and play and explore.

10 days old. Slept through the whole outing.

A few weeks ago I spent a lovely morning wandering around Green Spring Gardens with Elsa and Oliver. There were lots of flowers blooming and the fall colors were beautiful.

Green Spring Gardens is so close to our house and we had never even been! My friend Jessica and her kids met us there a few Fridays ago and showed us around. They have a fun children's garden where the kids spent a lot of time running and playing and imagining. We walked down to a nice river that was perfect for exploring and rock climbing. When all the kids were tired and hungry, Jessica introduced us to the perfect lunch spot next door at Flippin' Pizza. We will definitely have to repeat this little adventure.
