GERMANY (Königssee)
Königssee is a beautiful lake in Berchtesgaden. The water is very clear and appears to be dark green because of the steep mountains that jut upward from its shores. The boat ride on the lake was so peaceful and gorgeous. At one point, the guide stopped the boat and played a trumpet towards the mountains so we could hear the amazing echo. We took the boat to the Chapel of St. Bartholomew (built in the 12th century) and walked around a bit. We got back on the boat and went to the end of the lake and hiked to Lake Obersee. It was so green and beautiful.

Welcome home! Everything looks so beautiful with the fog. And nothing makes me miss Germany more than hearing about a delicious German breakfast. Glad you guys had fun - can't wait to see/hear more!
