beach day

We found a great little stretch of beach (not hard to do on the North Carolina coast) and hardly anybody else was around. The weather was perfect, the water was warm and the kids loved playing in the waves. Elsa always wants to go on a walk so she and I took a stroll down the beach to look for shells. Oliver was in the water the entire time. He loved it. The kids had fun watching Ben do some body surfing. The waves were pretty big. There was a beautiful sunset too. I love spontaneous beach trips.
