Oak View County Park

We love visiting Historic Oak View. We checked out one of their adventure backpacks and chose the one that has activities all about life during the Civil War. It came with two wooden rifles that the kids thought were pretty cool. There were also hats representing the north and south. The girls were pretending to bandage wounded soldiers in the gazebo when it looked like a storm was on the way. It got darker and darker and started to sprinkle. We ended up running back to the visitor center and getting soaked. We hung out in there for a while while it poured rain outside and the kids loved playing in the farm market area.
