Jordan Lake

This has been the warmest February ever. One day I took Ruby and Simon to Jordan Lake to play on the beach. We had the beach to ourselves and Simon loved playing in the sand. He is obsessed with Wild Kratts right now so he kept pretending to have different creature powers. It felt so nice to just enjoy the warm sun. The water was cold but that didn't stop Simon from getting wet. Like every outing, there were the fun parts and then the frustrating parts (like Simon dumping tons of sand in my hair, Simon and the stroller getting covered in mud, and dealing with bathroom issues when there was no bathroom). But I wouldn't trade my days with these kids for anything.
