tunella.
This is not the only time Elsa has been caught sneaking Nutella, or tunella as she calls it.

Rollin' Eggs at the White House
A wonderful friend got us tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll this year! The girls loved doing the egg roll and making some crafts. Oliver loved being carried around all day. We loved that they were handing out free water and juice everywhere. It was HOT.

The egg roll:

Elsa was so determined. It took her some time, but she finally got that egg across the finish line.

(Did you know the White House has beehives?)
The girls had fun doing a few crafts. They made some little kites and then "flew" them:

Day 6: Perfect Endings
Our last day of the road trip was perfect. We drove about 3 hours and then Ben did a little iphone research to find a spot for a picnic lunch. We ended up at Falls Lake, somewhere in North Carolina. It was a beautiful spot and a beautiful day. Perfect for an impromptu swim in the lake. The girls were thrilled to be able to go swimming even though the water was a bit chilly. And they loved playing in the sand. It was such a relaxing afternoon. We ended up spending several hours there. It was good to tire the kids out before making the final stretch home.
