Utah: Temple Square
Before heading to the airport, we walked around City Creek and Temple Square. We met Steph at her office (in the Church Office Building) and picked up rolls from the Lion House. The flowers on Temple Square were so beautiful. We visited the Church History museum and then toured the Conference Center. Our final stop was a delicious lunch at Spitz (yummy Mediterranean). The kids were great on the way home and we were SOOOO thrilled to have a direct flight after way too many transfer nightmares in the past.
Utah: Plain City
We left Eden and made a stop in Plain City to visit my Aunt Maureen (who lives in my grandparents' old house). It was fun to show the kids the farm that I spent lots of time on as a kid. We stopped by the local park that is named after my Grandpa who was the mayor for several years. Then we made our way to Murray and had dinner at Ben's parents' house. Some of his siblings and their families came over for dessert which was fun.
Utah: Relaxing in Eden
On our last full day in Eden, all the guys went on a bike ride somewhere in the mountains and were gone most of the day. The rest of us went swimming and relaxed at the house. In the evening, I drove up to the top of the mountain with Ben and Simon to see the sunset again. Then we all stayed up late talking and playing games and eating leftover pie.
