Our final stop of the day was a pop-up park on The Oval. We walked up the "Rocky steps" first and took in the fabulous views of the city. Then we checked out the fabulous pop-up park on the Oval. They had so many fun things to do and we all had fun hanging out, playing, and watching the beautiful sunset. And of course there was more water to enjoy as well. We drove by the temple one last time to see it lit up at night and then picked up yummy pizza from a local place (I don't remember what it was called) and ate it back at the hotel while we watched the Olympics.
We slept in and had a lazy morning in the hotel before making our way to Virginia. We went to church at our old ward (Franconia) and it was so great to see so many friends who we miss dearly. We had a relaxing evening at the Little's house and the kids were happy to be reunited with their friends.
