Ben, with the Zugspitze behind him.
Looking down on the lake from the cable car.
The cable car at the top...suspended over 9,000 feet in the air.
Our amazing view at the top.
It was cold. And windy. And incredibly bright.
Enjoying some hot chocolate at the top.
We were actually above the clouds, in the blue sky.
We descended on a different cable car which was much shorter. We only descended for a second and we were out of the cloud that was hanging around the top of the mountain. We emerged on the most amazing views from the backside of the peak.
Looking back up at the top.
There was a church built at the top.
From this point, we got on the train and it took a very slow route through a tunnel in the mountain. We finally emerged and had great views of the Eibsee.
