sunday morning stroll.

A few weeks ago we enjoyed a beautiful walk around the Tidal Basin. We wanted to visit one of our favorite memorials, the FDR, and then just kept going and made stops at the Martin Luther King Memorial, WWII, and Jefferson.

  1. Are Elsa and Amelia just accustomed to so much walking? I feel like anytime we go out Bria just gets tired so easily and complains about walking. Does Elsa ride in the stroller much? Or have they just built their stamina from getting out walking so often?

    1. I think they are used to us doing a lot of walking. But they definitely still complain at times. Especially on this walk because we didn't originally intend to circumnavigate the entire tidal basin and it ended up being a really long walk. We usually put the second seat on our stroller for Elsa to use if she gets too tired. And we have to employ a lot of distraction techniques to keep them going (like asking Amelia to tell us about fairies). And of course they say they can't possibly walk another step and then they see something fun (like the Jefferson Memorial) and RUN up every step to the top.
