Downtown Raleigh

I took the kids to Marbles one afternoon but first we stopped at the Videri Chocolate Factory. You can see how they make the chocolate and they give you free samples! In the evening Ben and I headed back downtown for our date night. We finally tried Poole's Diner and it was delicious. They are famous for their mac 'n cheese and it did not disappoint (it was also gigantic). My watermelon avocado salad was so yummy, and pretty too. Then we found the Two Roosters ice cream truck. They had collaborated with Yellow Dog Bread Company and made the most delicious pecan sticky bun ice cream.
