Cape May

Our first stop in Cape May was a picnic at Cape May Point State Park and then a visit to the lighthouse. The girls really wanted to climb the 199 steps to the top of the lighthouse so I took them up. They loved climbing to the top and we were rewarded with beautiful views of the Cape May peninsula.

This was a difficult rule for Elsa, who only has one volume. Loud.

This is a popular spot to view the fall bird migration. We saw lots of beautiful birds.

We drove around downtown Cape May which is one of the country's oldest vacation resort destinations and known for its Victorian architecture. Such beautiful old buildings and houses. We stopped at the beach for a bit to play in the water. It was actually a really warm October day and perfect for the beach.
