Richmond: Maymont

Kirsten had to head home, but Jessica and I continued the Richmond adventure with a stop at beautiful Maymont (after picking up some refreshing beverages at Sonic). We didn't have much time to walk around before they closed the park, but the kids loved having a little more time to run and play with their friends. It was a long drive home and a late night, but so worth it. I can't wait to meet up again!

Maymont Park

I had to return some lighting at a store in Richmond so we all headed up one Saturday afternoon and spent a few hours at beautiful Maymont Park.

After our visit to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, we discovered that our favorite North Carolina fast food chain is now in Richmond so we picked up lunch from Cook-Out and then headed to Maymont to do some exploring. We have visited Maymont at many different times of year and it is always beautiful. The fall colors were still bright and the kids had fun running through all of the gardens.
