a snow day.

We finally had a snow day this winter. After predictions of several inches, our area received a whopping .2 inches (that's POINT two inches) of snow. And schools were canceled. And I was fine with that. It was nice to spend a day at home and stay in pajamas, enjoy a big breakfast, watch a movie, and make hot chocolate. The snow turned to rain and at the end of the day, there wasn't a speck of snow in our neighborhood. And I was fine with that too.

My book club's book selection this month made for a good read on a snow day.
