The girls had a day off of school so we headed to Hill Ridge Farms first thing in the morning. We were glad we arrived early and had the farm nearly to ourselves for a little while before school groups started arriving. They had the most delicious apple cider donuts, fresh and warm. The kids had so much fun running from activity to activity. We loved watching the pig races (they also had goats and ducks race as well which were hilarious). It was a chilly morning so we took a break by a fire and enjoyed some funnel cake and hot apple cider. We took a hayride to a "pumpkin patch" (a field scattered with already picked pumpkins) and we each chose our pumpkin. We carved pumpkins that night. Well, everyone helped scoop out their pumpkin and draw a face and then Ben did all the carving (and drilling).

Haha! Is that a maze you have to go through to get to the bathrooms?!
