Simon and Oliver love to bring me dandelions from the yard. Simon surprised me one day with a little frog. He was so proud of his frog.
Oliver was not interested in drawing or writing for a long time but has gotten really into it in the last few months. It's been fun to see how his style has developed on his own. He loves to show me what he's been working on.
Simon and I picked up some goodies from Yellow Dog Bread Co. one morning while everyone else was in school and then wandered around the Historic Oakwood Cemetery.

I needed to make cookies for a primary teacher training so I made these yummy cornflake crunch chocolate chip marshmallow cookies from Christina Tosi's Milk Bar. Gooey and crunchy and delicious.
