We tried to pack in as much as possible the week before school started. We hit up a few water parks. We also made a trip to
Great Country Farms. We had been once last year and loved it. It's out in the beautiful countryside of Virginia. It has an endless amount of fun things for the kids to do. The best part was, we pretty much had the places to ourselves the whole time. There are countless playground areas and slides, rope swings, farm animals to feed, a corn pit, mini golf, a maze, and of course the giant jumping pillow. And my favorite part...adirondack chairs everywhere to sit and enjoy the perfect weather, country views, and my children.
Oliver was not a fan of the jumping pillow.
Everyone was sooo dirty (covered in white powder) after playing in the corn.
Oliver is obsessed with climbing up slides. He will get so mad at the slide until he is able to do it. He made it up all of the tube slides here. A highlight of my day was riding down the slides with all the kids. We would get going so fast and they would laugh so hard.
We got to take a wagon ride to the apple orchard and pick honeycrisp apples. Yum!
As soon as Oliver realized there were apples everywhere, he grabbed a few, plopped down, and got busy eating.
