Chapel Hill Botanical Garden
The boys and I went to the Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill one day. We picked up yummy biscuits from Sunrise Kitchen first and then walked around the gardens.

Charlotte: Botanical Garden
On one of the two days the girls actually had for spring break, we took a little day trip to Charlotte. We crossed over the border into South Carolina to have lunch at Culver's and get our fix of fried cheese curds and frozen custard. Then we headed to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. The kids loved running around here and especially loved playing in the fountain and the children's garden.
Soaking wet.
Of course Simon fell in the muddy pond.

green bay: botanical garden
Phew. I think this is the last Green Bay post. We had such a great week with everyone and it was sad to say good-bye. (It turned out to be a quick good-bye since we almost missed our flight. We made it. The bags didn't. But that's another story.)
I wish our visits could be more frequent. Before flying home on Monday night, we fit in one last adventure and went to the Botanical Gardens. There were so many beautiful flowers blooming. They have a great children's garden and we spent most of our time there.
After the gardens, Ben took the kids swimming one last time and then Amelia and Naomi presented an art show to us (they had hung their drawings all around the living room and told us about each one).
Thanks mom and dad for such a great week!

Graysen was a good sport and posed with Elsa.
