utah: swimming + friends

We were so glad we got to spend some time with our good friends the Webbs (who used to live down the street from us here in Virginia). Emma and Amelia were best friends and it's always fun to see them reunite. We had fun swimming at Phil's parent's house and then Phil and Micaela took us out for a delicious lunch at The Dodo Restaurant in Sugarhouse (while Micaela's brave sister watched all seven kids).

Elsa REALLY wanted to go off the diving board. She tried so many times but just couldn't bring herself to do it.

 She finally figured out that jumping off the side suited her just fine.

I didn't get any photos, but we spent the evening at Matt (Ben's brother) and Amanda's house. They made a delicious dinner for us and we enjoyed eating and chatting outside on a beautiful summer evening. And s'mores were involved!
