D.C. trip: Monument Stroll

We picked up Ben and the girls from Good Stuff Eatery (they had a toasted marshmallow shake waiting for us...yum!!) and then headed to the tidal basin for an evening monument stroll. We found a beautiful grove of Kwanzan cherry trees in full bloom. It was such a beautiful night and even though we've visited these monuments so many times, they never seem to get old. They're especially stunning at night. We had to battle a lot of tour groups though.
