Myrtle Beach: full day of fun

I started Monday morning with an early morning run on the boardwalk. It was so fun to run somewhere new, especially after so many runs just doing laps around our neighborhood due to Ben's travel and school schedules. The beach and ocean offered the most beautiful scenery, even on a cloudy morning.

The kids were DYING to get to the pools. We spent a few minutes at the beach before the pools opened up and then the kids spent a few hours playing in the pools. The lazy rivers were a favorite for everyone. There were indoor and outdoor heated pools which was perfect for the changing weather. We had most of the pools to ourselves which was so nice.

We headed to the boardwalk for lunch and then went mini golfing and got ice cream. The kids hit the pools one more time before dinner. We found a yummy Mexican restaurant and the boys fell asleep while waiting for their food. They were wiped out.
