Wisconsin Part 6: Botanical Gardens

Thursday afternoon we enjoyed Wisconsin-famous butterburgers and frozen custard followed by a viewing of Toy Story 3. In the evening we headed to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens to enjoy a picnic dinner while listening to a jazz group perform for one of their summer evening concerts. We wandered around the gardens which were beautiful. The highlight was the children's garden which had some really creative features and lots of neat places to hide and explore.

They had watering cans you could fill up and then water all these fun plant creations:

Elsa heads into the maze.

And to Amelia's extreme delight, we came across a fairy garden.

  2. No wonder you didn't want to come back!!! Just remember that spring in Wisconsin doesn't start until...June? July? :)
