Saturday at the Lake

Ben was out of town all week and then had to be gone through the weekend. I was going crazy by Saturday and needed to go somewhere with the kids. We decided to brave Jordan Lake on a Saturday. We arrived later in the afternoon. It was a little crowded when we arrived but really cleared out by the later evening and we had the best time enjoying the water together. Ruby was super happy and content on the beach and in the water which made things even better. (We did witness a crazy fight between some women on the beach and the park rangers had to get involved but other than that wild behavior, it was a fun evening.) The sunset was beautiful as well. Getting everyone home, cleaned up and in bed by myself was less enjoyable, but that's life with kids. The good with the bad and always worth it.
