A visit from Ethan and Jonah

Our friends the Dyckmans sent their boys Ethan and Jonah to spend a few weeks with their grandpa, who lives here in Raleigh. We were so excited that we got to steal them for a few nights while they were here. The kids did lots of exploring in the back woods and playing in the yard. We went to Jordan Lake one evening and did some kayaking and swimming. We also visited Yates Mill and made a trip to Marbles, where we recreated some photos of a visit there with the Dyckmans several years ago.
