On our last day, we drove to Cades Cove and drove the loop there which has several historical points of interest including some churches and a farm and mill. The scenery was beautiful and the rain made it extra moody and pretty. We even spotted black bears! Seeing a mom and her 2 cubs cross right in front of our car was a highlight of the trip.
We ended the evening riding the Alpine Coaster. Amelia was tall enough to ride alone but Ben and I took turns taking down the other 3 kids. They loved it. When I went down with Elsa, it started pouring rain on the way up which made for an extra crazy ride. Ben snuck out later that night to go again with Amelia and Elsa.
