Christmas crafting

The kids painted nutcrackers one day after school. We also made nativity sets for my siblings. The kids helped with the painting, Ben cut the pieces, I did the sanding and manned the hot glue gun and Ruby ate chocolate-covered peppermint joe-joes that she found on the floor. I got the nativities packaged up and in the mail just barely in time for them to arrive by Christmas. One of these years I'm going to be way ahead of the game.
