Philadelphia: Fountains!

Following our delicious lunch at Shake Shack, we headed back to the area near the Temple and the Franklin Institute. We made a quick stop in the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul and then headed across the street to Sister Cities Park where they had some great water features for the kids to play in. I wish our area had more fun fountains and splash pads. The kids had so much fun playing in the water. The location was fun too. We headed across the street to the Swann Memorial Fountain for MORE water play. I love that you're actually allowed to play in this huge fountain. The kids did not want to leave and we spent a good amount of time here. Ruby had a nice nap in the stroller while the kids played. It was a perfect afternoon. It was fun to see the Temple in the background of the fountain and the splash pad. We did a lot of changing of clothes in the car while on this trip. After the fountains we made a stop at Reading Terminal Market for more pretzels and some fresh-squeezed juice.
