star advent and christmas forts

I had to make all the nativity costumes for the primary kids to wear during the nativity play at the Ward Christmas party. The younger kids were going to be sheep so I made a bunch of sheep headbands using felt and cotton balls. Ruby and Simon were my models as I experimented to find the best version.

I hung up our star advent from last year and this year we filled it with the daily service ideas from the church's "Light the World" campaign.

I helped Simon make a fort in his bed and hung up Christmas lights for our afternoon story time. When the other kids got home from school they all piled into the fort.
