woodland advent

I found this amazing advent calendar online from a German shop. It's made in Denmark and I knew I had to add it to our collection. I found a big branch in our yard and hung it up, along with some snowflake lights, while the girls were at school and surprised them with it on December 1st. They loved having an advent in their room and were so excited to see what each day's pouch would be. The little pouches had small treats in them and then turned inside out and became little woodland puppets. There were animals, trees, mountains, clouds and a star. They had fun arranging them throughout the month.
