Morning Monument Run

I had to drop Ben off at the airport early Monday morning so I brought Ruby along and then did a run on the mall with her after dropping Ben off at Reagan. Seeing the sun slowly illuminate the monuments and cast a warm glow was absolutely beautiful. There were very few people around and we had a few monuments to ourselves. We ran from the Lincoln to the WWII to the Washington and then around the Tidal Basin past the Jefferson and the FDR and the MLK and then along the river for a bit, pausing to take a few photos of course. Gorgeous morning.
