Outer Banks: Day One

We were so happy that my parents could come out for a visit before they headed to Ecuador for their mission. We spent 4 nights of their visit at the Outer Banks which was so fun. They arrived Tuesday night and then Wednesday morning we got all packed up. We (me, Grandma, Grandpa, Simon and Ruby) drove to Hatteras Island where we had rented a house. We made a stop at the Bodie Island Lighthouse where I picked up my National Parks Passport and got my first stamp! Ben was traveling home from a work trip that day so he drove that evening with the big kids once they got home from school and they met us at the rental house Wednesday night.
