Ben and I had a special date night with Amelia and Elsa. We went to the Moonlight in the Garden event at the Raulston Arboretum. It was fun to just have the girls with us and fewer distractions. We enjoyed beautiful light displays and luminaries, warm apple cider, roasting marshmallows, yummy food samples from Neomonde, live music and a firefly craft. We had dinner at Guasaca afterward.
The next day I went to Duke Gardens with Ruby and Simon for the mum festival. We saw so many varieties of mums and enjoyed all the beautiful fall colors around the gardens. We made a lunch stop in Hillsborough and tried the Bona Fide Sandwich Co. The sandwiches were delicious. The grilled cheese had havarti, brie, cheddar, and caramelized onions. So good.
